The 5th edition of the Yellowstone International Film Festival will take place from November 15 to 20, 2024, with screenings in Mumbai and Delhi. 9. Celebrate Art and Spirituality with Thota Vaikuntam’s ‘Dancing Shiva’ at Art Mumbai
From November 14 to 17, 2024, art enthusiasts can visit Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai (Booth No. 33) for an exciting exhibition featuring the renowned works of Indian artist Thota Vaikuntam. Following a successful debut at last year’s Art Mumbai, Sanya Malik of Black Cube presents ‘Dancing Shiva,’ which showcases a vibrant collection of paintings, sculptures, and mixed media inspired by the iconic Shiva Nataraja, the Lord of the Dance. Among the highlights are two striking bronze sculptures, one standing at an impressive 6 feet, crafted at a prestigious UK foundry. Vaikuntam’s reinterpretation of Nataraja captures the cosmic dynamics of creation and destruction, reflecting the timeless dance of life. The exhibition will also feature a unique cloisonné enamel watch designed in collaboration with a Swiss watchmaker, illustrating the fusion of art and innovation.
