Jaguar land Rover has launched the 2020 F-Type amid nationwide lockdown in India in both coupe and cabriolet starting at Rs 95.12 lakhs.
Jaguar land Rover India has launched the facelifted F-Type sportscar in India amid lockdown starting at Rs. 95.12 lakhs for the base P200 Coupe and Rs. 2.41 crore for the top P575 cabriolet.
The sportscar has been launched in three engine variants. P300 has a 2.0 litre four-cylinder turbo engine delivering 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The P450 has a 5.0 litre supercharged V8 delivering 450 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque. The top variant P575 uses the same supercharged V8 but now delivers 575 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque and is the only variant that get All-Wheel Drive system while the rest of the variants are rear-wheel drive only. All engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The base model, P300 comes in three variants: Standard, R-Design and First Edition. P450 only has R-Design and First Edition whereas 9575 only gets the most dynamic R-Design. All three models also get the cabriolet versions with R-Design variant.
The F-Type facelift has new styling features with sleeker headlamps, a new front grille, all-new LED tail lamps, and a new rear diffuser for improved aerodynamics. The interior features a new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system which for the first-time features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The driver also gets a new 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. The car also gets 12-way electric front seats with memory function, leather-wrapped steering wheel, premium cabin lighting, switchable active exhaust, and more.
