Chicken is the crowning jewel of the food of Punjab. It was invented by a Punjabi family though it didn’t originate in Punjab. The butter chicken dish is spiced and paired up with naan, and no celebration is complete without this delicacy.
LASSI
It’s a drink that is known far and wide and its Punjabis pride. The drink has a dollop cream and butter. Flavours like strawberry, mango, and rose are added, twisting it while beating the heat from summer.
AMRITSARI FISH
Fish is a favourite dish to the non-vegetarians in India. It is juicy and succulent on the inside and also spicy. It’s a popular food in Punjab served all over the country with the same name.

It’s a standard dish in Punjabi and is in most restaurants that offer fast food. It’s made with milk and flour.
