5 Sports Bikes Under 4 Lakhs

From Kawasaki to KTM here are five sports bikes options available under 4 lakhs in India. 

1- KTM RC390

KTM RC 390 is one of the favourite bikes in India. 390 always known for its power and performance. KTM RC 390 have very aggressive riding posture which makes it bit tough for daily riding options. Designed for race with single cylinder can beat anything on track. It is a single cylinder motorbike with 373 cc engine which generates 43 bhp and its torque helps it in raving on high gears. This bike can easily touch 100 kmph in just 5.7 secs, with the top speed of 179 km/h. Company claims the mileage of 25-30 kmpl. You can feel some heating issues while riding it, it happens due to high power on a single cylinder engine. KTM RC 390 have excellent aerodynamics for getting high speeds. Slipper clutch helps this bike to avoid jerk while downshifting on high rpm. KTM RC390 is priced at Rs-2,44,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).

 

2- TVS APACHE RR 310 

TVS recently launched their Apache RR 310. First TVS present this motorbike as Akula 310. After the collaboration of TVS Motors and BMW Motorrad. RR 310 is based on BMW G310R, these both bikes have same platform. TVS brings a 35 years of racing experience on RR 310. This bike is good for long tours and everyday ride, it’s riding posture is not so aggressive as compared to RC 390. This bike comes with 312 cc engine which generates 34 bhp, this bike can easily touch 100km/h in 7.2 secs, with the top speed of 160 km/h. Company claims the mileage of 25-30 kmpl. The Apache RR310 is priced at Rs-2,27,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).

 

3- SUZUKI GIXXER 250 SF 

Suzuki Gixxer 250 SF is recently launched in India. Gixxer 250 SF is a single cylinder motorbike with 249cc engine which generates 26bhp. This bike has the fuel tank capacity of 12 litres with a mileage of 30-35 kmpl. 250 SF also have dual channel ABS. With the sitting position a bit jockey in Gixxer 250 sf, which is pretty good for everyday ride or long tours. This bike has the top speed of 150 km/h and Gixxer 250 SF got success in its segment. Gixxer 250 SF is priced at Rs-1,71,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).

 

4- YAMAHA YZF-R3 

Yamaha YZF-R3 is one of the most loving motorbike in India. Yamaha always known for their engine refinement, power to weight ratio and least vibration vehicles. Yamaha YZF-R3 is a twin cylinder motorbike with 321 cc engine which generates 42 bhp, we can say this is the fastest bike on this list. R3 can easily touch 100 km/h in just 2.89 secs with the top speed of 188 km/h. The company claims the mileage of 15-25 kmpl, with the fuel tank capacity of 14 litres. This bike doesn’t have vibration issues, it’s power to weight ratio is less then KTM RC 390 (If Yamaha R3 is lighter in weight) then it can get more speed easily and it is priced at Rs-3,48,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).

 

5- KAWASAKI NINJA 300 

Kawasaki ninja 300 is a twin cylinder engine which helps it while cruising on highspeed. Most of the people prefer Kawasaki Ninja 300 for efficient sports bike with enough power with its looks, after sale service and good resale value. Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes with 296 cc engine which generates 39 bhp @ 11000 rpm. As the specification presents this bike can preform excellent on long term riding. For eg: KTM RC390 have 43 bhp @ 9000 rpm and Kawasaki Ninja 300 have 39 bhp @ 11000 rpm. So, RC 390 can take good pick up as compared to Ninja 300 but high rpm helps ninja to overcome RC 390 on long term races. So, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 is priced at Rs-2,98,000 (Ex-showroom Delhi).
