ZILLION DOLLAR LOBSTER FRITATA: RS. 63,519
Norma’s in Le Parker Meridien hotel has an omelet that will set you back rs 63,519. This omelet has 10 ounces of Sevurga caviar, an entire lobster, six fresh eggs, cream, chives and lobster sauce. It’s served over a bed of Yukon gold potatoes. The price of the dish was doubled since 2016 in an attempt by the hotel to reflect the quality and cost of the caviar.
BAGEL: RS 63,519
These bagels are unlike any other. They were the creation of Frank Tujague, the Executive Chef of Westin Hotel in New York. Each bagel contains a little bit of white truffle cream cheese, goji berry-infused Riesling jelly that has golden leaves, and Italian truffle. The bagel was first brought out in the year 2007. All the proceeds that are collected from the sale of this bagel are all initiated towards Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen, the largest emergency food program in the city.
THE GOLDEN OPULANCE SUNDAE: RS. 69,827
To indulge in this sundae you’ll need to pre-order 48 hours in advance. It has $1,000 treat of Tahitian vanilla ice cream infused with Madagascar vanilla, blanketed in 24-karat (edible) gold leaf, and is topped by AmedeiPorcelana chocolate syrup and pieces of Chuao chocolate from Venezuela. Parisian candied fruits, gilded almonds, truffles, and marzipan cherries decorate the sundae, and it all sits in a Baccarat crystal bowl goblet. The bowl can be taken back home after. There is also glass bowl of American Golden caviar is topped with yet more gold leaf and added to the ensemble.
THE WORLDS MOST EXPENSIVE TACO: Rs.17,10,377.18
Why settle for Taco Bell when you can indulge in the worlds most expensive taco priced at this price. This taco is sold at Grand Velas Los Cabos Resort, Mexico. This taco has Kobe beef, langoustine, Almas beluga caviar, black truffle brie cheese, and a salsa of dried Morita chile peppers, civet coffee, and Ley .925 añejo tequila. And of course, no dish is complete without a sprinkle of gold flakes on it.
DOMENICO CROLLA’S PIZZA ROYALE 007: Rs, 2,83,353
Domenico Crolla is a Scottish chef who decided to make the worlds most expensive pizza, Pizza Royale 007. It was a 12-inch pie, filled with lobsters marinated in cognac, caviar soaked in champagne, tomato sauce, Scottish smoked salmon, prosciutto, venison medallions, and vintage balsamic vinegar. And then, of course, to top it all off there is 24 karat gold flakes. The name of the pizza was influenced by the James Bond movie but however, the pizza in no way was funded by the franchise.
