The newly launched XE will be available in trims of two, S and SE IN both petrol and diesel variants. Specifically, for the Indian market the luxury sedan from the British auto maker will have lots of updates. The 10.2-inch infotainment looks similar to JLR’s other models with a wide range of connectivity and navigations.
The new XE now complying with BS6 regulations would get a 2.0 litre petrol unit delivering 247 horsepower and 365 Nm of torque while the 2.0 litre diesel would produce 178 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque. Both the engines would be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
