16 Stunners from Geneva Motors Show

Geneva Motor Show 2019 showcases some of the Best Supercars, Electronic Vehicles (EVs) and some fantastic Next- Generation motor cars.

Audi’s Q4 e-tron

The fifth electric car by Audi Q4 e-tron comes with the 82-kWh battery pack is buried deep between the two axles, while twin electric motors deliver 225 kW (304 hp). The Q4 e-tron will have a range of over 450 km and do 0-100 km/h in 6.3 s on one charge. Power comes from a pair of electric motors that draw electricity from a 82-kWh lithium-ion battery pack to channel 301 horsepower to the four wheels. It comes with a Quick-charging technology delivers an 80-percent charge in 30 minutes, a rate which should make range anxiety a problem of the past. The concept car previews an electric — and electrifying — production model scheduled to make its debut at the end of 2020.

 

Pagani Zonda C12

Pagani unveiled the first Zonda C12 in Geneva 20 years ago. To mark this anniversary, the chassis no. 001 has been seriously upgraded and brought back to where it made its debut. The Pagani Zonda C12 hypercar comes with a 6.0-litre Mercedes V12 engine that packs 450 hp.

 

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster

The most powerful series production V12-engine car produced to date by Lamborghini puts out 770 CV (566 kW) at maximum 8,500 rpm, accelerating from standing to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 8.8 seconds. . The 4-wheel drive Aventador SVJ Roadster is based on the SVJ coupé, which holds the Nürburgring record for production vehicles.  A top speed of more than 350 km/h is complemented by a braking distance of 100 km/h to 0 in 31 meters.

The Aventador SVJ Roadster will be produced in just 800 units and the masterpiece on display in Geneva flaunts the new matt shade Bronzo Zenas, a bronze that is only one of almost 350 colors available, and features a special Ad Personam livery in Bianco Phanes (white).

 

Ferrari F8 Tributo

The Ferrari F8 Tributo is the new mid-rear-engined sports car that represents the highest expression of the Prancing Horse’s classic two-seater berlinetta. It is a car with unique characteristics and, as its name implies, is an homage to the most powerful V8 in Ferrari history. V8 rear-mid engine, successor to the 488 GTB. The 3.9-litre V8 packs 720 hp, generating 185 hp/l and torque of 770 Nm. 40 kg lighter than the 488 GTB, but producing 50 hp more. It does 0-100 km/h in 2.9 s, achieving a top speed of 340 km/h. Beyond its impressive performance numbers, and it cassic berlinetta, the F8 Tributo is a lot better than the 488 GTB when it comes to aerodynamic efficiency – 15 percent better, to be exact.

 

Maserati Levante Trofeo

The Levante Trofeo is Maserati’s sportiest SUV, with a seriously upgraded, power-optimised 3.8-litre V8 engine, producing 580 hp and 730 Nm of torque. The intelligent Q4 four-wheel drive is powered by a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission. The launch edition is limited to 100 vehicles, the SUV features its speed of 0-60 mph in 3.7 seconds1 with a top speed of 187 mph. The interior also includes a Trofeo logo stitched on headrest and the interior features 3D matte carbon fiber weave pattern trim.

 

Mercedes – Benz – SLC 300 Final Edition

The third generation of the original SLK roadster with a folding roof has been made since 2011. All Final Editions come with numerous extras and special lettering. Available in SLC 180, SLC 200, SLC 300 and Mercedes-AMG SLC 43 versions. The final edition of the SLC-class currently offers an SLC300 model with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four and an AMG SLC43 version with a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6. Both of these SLCs will be offered with the sendoff package with the SLC300 Final Edition coming in Selenite Gray and the SLC43 coming in the Sun Yellow color. According to Mercedes, this yellow is meant to evoke the launch color of the original SLK, a bright hue called Yellowstone that was out of the ordinary in the context of Benz’s usual staid color palette. Other than the color, the SLC Final Editions also feature black and chrome trim bits on the outside, five-spoke 18-inch AMG wheels, a black and silver leather interior with carbon-fiber finishes, and Final Edition badges on the fenders and the floor mats.

 

Porsche Cayman

Porsche carries on the purist approach of the 911 T from 1968: the new model version of the 718 Boxster and Cayman combines a 300-hp flat-four turbocharged engine with an especially exciting Porsche driving experience. These features accentuate the T models’ performance-based character. Porsche Cayman comes with 2.0 litre flat four generating 300 Hp, giving 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 171 mph.

 

Rolls Royce Cullinan

Well the Rolls Royce Cullinan is already brought by the Footballer, Christino Ronaldo, and Raper Tyga, who have aready been flaunting the piece on their social media. Rolls Royce Cullinan is a first all-terrain SUV. Built on an aluminium space frame, the second model after the Phantom to stand on this new luxury platform. The Cullinan is 5.34 m long and its 6.75-litre V12 engine packs 571 hp and 850 Nm. The first Rolls-Royce with 4-wheel drive and a tailgate.

 

BMW – M760Lix Drive

Once again, a 12-cylinder model for BMW’s new 7 series (long version only). The 6.6-litre V12 twin-turbo engine effortlessly delivers power, cranking out 585 hp and 850 Nm of torque Weighing in at nearly 2.3 tons, this luxury limo does 0-100 km/h in 3.8 s and has a top speed of 305 km/h. The new 7 will also be offered in a plug-in hybrid version which combines a specially adapted six-cylinder inline engine with 280 hp (209 kW) with an electric motor rated at 113 hp (84 kW). The system stores electric energy in a new lithium-ion battery. The combined peak power of the system is 389 hp (290 kW) which is enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) sprint in 4.9 seconds.

 

Bentley Bentayga SUV

The Speed, Bentley’s new top Bentayga SUV model, features an uprated version of the familiar 6.0-litre W12 engine. Delivering 635 hp, the luxurious crossover has a top speed of 306 km/h and zips from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 s. A 48V electric roll control system counteracts lateral rolling forces to ensure that the tires stay on the ground, and handling is top-notch. The Bentley Bentayga is the “world’s fastest, most luxurious SUV till date.

 

Bugatti

Bugatti La Voiture Noire, French for ‘the black car’, made its public debut earlier this week at the Geneva Motor Show 2019. One-off celebration of Bugatti’s 110th anniversary, unmatched in terms of design, quality, materials and drive. Its name refers to the all-black variant of the Bugatti Type 57SC Atlantic. The 8.0-litre W16 mid-engine generates 1,103 kW (1,500 hp). Interestingly, Bugatti has already sold this one-off hyper sports car, for about $19 million (including taxes), which roughly translates to ₹133 crore (according to the exchange rates at the time of publishing this story). Before you ask, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire costs €11 million, i.e. ₹87 crore, before taxes.

 

LEXUS RC F

 

Lexus remains committed to the RC’s naturally aspirated, 5.0-liter V8 engine but the freshly updated RC F coupe of 467-horsepower is unmatched among its peers. It is not only the largest engine in its class, but an unprecedented feat of precision engineering. Making this powerful V8 even more stirring, it emits a throaty, specially tuned intake and exhaust sound as it screams to its impressive 7,300-rpm redline. The RC F’s lightning-fast eight-speed Sport Direct-Shift transmission with downshift rev-matching features optimally positioned paddle shifters for split-second upshifts all the way to its 168-mph top track speed, 2.7. Meticulously engineered from the ground up, the RC F boasts specialized manufacturing techniques like high-strength adhesive bonding, laser brazing, and multi-spot and laser screw welding, which add rigidity to help optimize handling stability and response.

 

Tata Motors H2X Concept

 

The H2X Concept is based on Tata’s new ALFA (Agile, Light, Flexible, Advanced) architecture and is designed as per its new Impact 2.0 philosophy. Like the H5X concept, the H2X’s front fascia features a honeycomb grille and slim LED DRLs. The flared wheel arches and the massive wheels will make way for more humble designs. H2X is said to have a 50mm smaller wheelbase. The nose is akin to the Harrier with sleek LEDs on top and tri-arrow design where the headlamps will be placed. The imposing bumpers hint at aggressive body cladding on the production model while the overly futuristic wheels will surely be toned down a few notches. The new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Revotron petrol and the 1.05-litre, three-cylinder, Revotorq diesel engine in the production-spec H2X. 
Packed with great ability, performance and durability into its design, the H2X concept is practical, comfortable yet versatile and power packed to drive is due for launch by mid-2020.

 

Aston Martin Lagonda Vanquish Vision Concept

Hints at the design of the first mass-produced mid-engine supercar planned by Aston Martin. Technically, the car will have a special bonded aluminum chassis and a new V6 engine. Production of the Vanquish Vision Concept is scheduled to start in 2022.

 

Kia Niro Hybrid

Technically upgraded hybrid crossover with level-2 assistance functions and a new UVO Connect telematics system. The 1.6 GDI engine is paired with an electric motor and 1.56-kWh battery. Dual-clutch transmission translates the power to the front wheels. As for the interior, the Niro models get seven-inch driver instrument display, optional 10.25-inch widescreen central display with UVO Connect online apps and new soft-touch dash top. The standard feature list includes an 8.0-inch central touchscreen and a 4.2-inch TFT instrument binnacle.

 

Jeep Renegade eAWD

First hybrid version of the compact Renegade. This plug-in hybrid is powered by a 1.3-litre turbocharged engine and an electric motor that drives the rear axle, together generating up to 240 hp. The Renegade eAWD’s electric range is around 50 km and its electric top speed is 130 km/h.
