The Senator Group forays into India

As part of its commitment to the Indian market, The Senator Group India opened its first showroom in Bangalore and aims to generate $ 1 million in the first year of its operations in the country

The Senator Group, one of the world’s largest and most established British designer and manufacturer of furniture for commercial and public spaces, recently launched two of its top, premium and high quality brands – Senator and Allermuir in India, each of which has its own unique blueprint – at its exclusive showroom in Bangalore. Apart from the showroom, which acts as an experience center for customers to get the touch and feel of the products, the company also strong network of marketing touch-points and dealer distribution across India.

Senator brand is a tech-driven office furniture and provides a range of products including task seating, meeting chairs, systems desking, table systems, and work management displays and storage. Allermuir brand, one of the top design-led brands in the world, creates striking, contemporary, youthful and witty workplace systems and soft seating in collaboration with award-winning designers from across the world. Known to offer complete business solution to clients, Allermuir products includes chairs, stools and sofa seating, sofas, tables, storage and beautifully crafted acoustic pods and screens. All the furniture’s are manufactured in a state-of-the-art, high capacity manufacturing facility, based out of UK and US, spread across more than 1 million square feet of space.

The designs are created keeping in mind the Indian tastes and preferences to be able to serve the customers satisfactorily. As per a recent report, the office furniture market in India is projected to grow to $13.58 billion by 2021 and office furniture segment is one of the major revenue generators of the overall furniture market in India.

The Senator Group India officially announced its launch at an event in the presence of Padma Shri C.N. Raghavendran, one of the pioneers in the architects and engineering industry in India. The Senator Group plans to invest heavily in India in the next few years and will focus on products made in India, for India. It will also gradually increase the size of the operations across Tier I and Tier II markets in India.
