Tip 2: Shop for diyas or use old traditional earthen diyas that you had used last year. Quickly paint them with bright and cheery colours to add pop of colours in the house. Trust me it won’t take much time and you will end up having family fun while painting and decorating these diyas.

Tip 4:The most easy and fun way to create festive mood is to throw in few bright coloured cushions or get your hands on embroidered cushions covers and change it with the old one. That way you don’t have to spend a lot of time as you are ready to invite festivities with bright and happy colours.

Use them to put some fresh flowers or you could use traditional marigolds and floating diyas in a large copper vessel for the decoration. It is a perfect option for your balcony or living room.
